Bloomingdale High School – Advanced Placement Studio Art Drawing

This is a college level course designed for the serious art student to continue to develop a portfolio that visually explores a particular artistic concern, articulated and supported by a written artist's statement. This course will both challenge and encourage students to develop mastery of concepts, composition, and technical skills promoting personal vision and growth in artistic expression. The student must dedicate a minimum of 5-10 hours per week to AP Studio work.
Prerequisites: B average in Portfolio Drawing or AP 2D and Instructor Signature
