Baltimore School for the Arts – CTE Aviation Maintenance Airframe Technician

This introductory course teaches students in theory and practical, hands-on experiences using the Jeppesen Maintenance textbook and shop/hanger work at the school and airport maintaining district-owned aircraft. Practical experience is also gained through hands-on exercises from the FAA Practical test questions. Students will be trained in aircraft maintenance, run- up procedures, and ground taxiing. Students course of study will also include shop and flight line safety, human factors training, FAA regulations, and advisory circulars.
