Figure Drawing provides a foundation in figure drawing using a variety of techniques in both black and white and color, emphasizing observation and interpretation of the visual environment and life drawing. This course includes applying the elements of art and principles of design, along engage in thehistorical and contemporary view of using art metals and other elements in jewelry design and provides instruction in the critique process. Students participate in critiques of their jewelry and metal works, the jewelry and metal works of others, and those by professional jewelers and gemologists for the purpose of reflecting on and refining work for fulfillment of the International Baccalaureate requirements.
