Bailey Middle – Keyboarding and Basic Word Processing

This course is comprised of a series of instructional modules designed to provide project-based instruction in basic keying skills, computer concepts and software applications. The four modules covered are alpha keys, number/symbol keys, building speed and accuracy and basic business correspondence. Students also par - ticipate in Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) competitive events, community service, and leadership activities. These activi - ties provide students the opportunity to apply essential standards and workplace readiness skills through authentic experiences. Language arts is reinforced.
