B.E.S.T Academy – Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) Program

Mar 2026 · 2nd Semester

A program designed to bring gifted students together to experience challenging activities through research skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving. The curriculum uses interdisciplinary units (Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, and Science) and project-based learning with a focus on STEM enrichment to meet intellectual, academic, social, and emotional needs.

Prerequisites: Students must meet the Georgia State Department of Education definition of a gifted student, demonstrating a high degree of intellectual, creative, and/or artistic ability, exceptional leadership skills, or excellence in specific academic fields

Grades: 6-12
