Atascocita High School – Art I Specialized

Placement in the Art I Specialized course is determined through an audition process that includes a student’s portfolio submission, demonstrated skills, reliability, personal commitment to advanced art requirements, and eligibility information. Admission is not necessarily related to the number of years in Art. Students choosing the Art I Advanced courses must submit a portfolio to their middle school art teacher for review by the high school art teacher. The middle school and high school Art teachers will work together to determine placement in Art I Specialized. The fee for this full-year course is $$ 50$ .
