Pro Start is a food service/hospitality management program. This program was developed by the National Restaurant Education Association. This course combines culinary skills with business management skills, along with guest speakers and field trips in the hospitality industry. Students will develop skills in nutrition, breakfast foods, sandwiches, salads, menu development, cost planning, inventory control, and customer service. This course is designed as part of a two-year program to help students prepare for a career in the hospitality industry.
