Arvada High School – Engineering I - Advanced STEM

Students completing this semester-long elective class will engage in-depth, specific projects in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) in the Creative Learning Systems STEM Lab. Students will integrate a variety of technologies and apply Jeffco Generation Skills and Science, Engineering and Mathematical Practices to identify, explore, and solve relevant problems related to circuitry, computer graphics, digital communications, mechanics and structures, robotics and control technology, software engineering, and/or sustainability.  Students will be required to collaborate with their peers and document their project planning, results, and self assessments through a digital portfolio. This course is ideal for students who want to deepen their experiences in CLS STEM 1. Students have choice and control over their projects.
