Arvada High SchoolPhilosophy

Mar 2026 · 2nd Semester

In Philosophy, we ask and discuss the deepest and most fundamental questions of human existence; questions like: What’s the meaning of life?, How should we treat other people?, and What can we know, and how can we know it? This course invites students to think critically and reflect on these and other deep questions by examining the writings and ideas of significant philosophers throughout the history of philosophy. Special attention is given to significant questions within each of the main branches of philosophy: metaphysics, epistemology, and ethics. Great prep for further study in education, business, politics, or law. \\_\\_\\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_
