Film Studies courses expose students to the artistic techniques used by filmmakers. Course topics may also include various styles of filmmaking (documentary, storytelling, news magazines, animation, and so on), through studying the films of major filmmakers. This course will also focus on the evolution of film as an industry. Students will have the chance to explore various genres of films, as well as look into directors, writers, and actors that have affected the way stories are told through film.
