This one-semester course is designed for 12th grade students who are dedicated and motivated to expand their ceramics skills. Students will choose an area of focus - whether it be hand building, throwing or both; and take time to develop their own ideas and work independently. Students research contemporary artists, share critiques and reflect on their growth over the semester. This course may be repeated for credit. A materials fee may be applied to this course.
