Apollo Elementary – Wind Ensemble - MU130A/B

Wind Ensemble is a year-long elective for advanced brass, and woodwind (and percussion – if no Percussion Ensemble class is offered) students focusing on high-level performance and technical refinement. As the capstone band in the district curriculum, the ensemble provides opportunities for performance in concerts, contests, assemblies, parades, and community events. Membership is determined by audition and considers musical ability, prior experience, and instrumentation needs. Participation in marching and pep bands, as well as some before or after-school practices, is expected.
Prerequisites: Completion of two or more years of band or equivalent private instruction. Admission by audition.
