Amador Valley High – Video Production 1 (P)

One-year course. Open to grades 9, 10, 11, 12. Prerequisite: One-year of visual and performing arts. Meets the UC/CSU "F" Requirement for Visual and Performing Arts. Students learn basic composition and will learn to integrate narrative, audio and visual elements into a series of production assignments. During the course of the year, students will build skills in the following three areas of production: pre-production, including planning, storyboarding and scriptwriting; production, including filming, audio recording and lighting; and post-production, including editing, critique and animation. Students will be expected to develop a sense of professional behavior and ethics as they learn about intellectual property rights and responsibilities as well as career opportunities. A lab donation
