One-year course. (FHS Only) Students will travel to school site: Foothill High School. Third/fourth course in Project Lead the Way sequence. Offered at FHS only alternating years with Honors Digital Electronics. Open to grades 11, 12. Prerequisite: C or better in Honors/Regular Principles of Engineering. Meets the recommended third year UC/CSU "D" Requirement for Science. Aerospace Engineering (AE) is a high school-level course intended to propel students’ learning in the fundamentals of atmospheric and space flight. As they explore the physics of flight, students bring the concepts to life by designing an airfoil, propulsion system, and rockets. They learn basic orbital mechanics using industry-standard software. They also explore robot systems through projects such as remotely operated v
