Amador Valley High – Art 3 (P)

One-year course. Open to grades 11, 12. Prerequisite: Completion of Art 2. Meets the UC/CSU "F" Requirement for Visual and Performing Arts. Advanced Art students will continue their exploration of artistic perception, art production, art history and valuing art. Part of the program includes a student and teacher collaborative that writes a series of assignment (unit) contracts targeted to specific areas of interest to the student. These areas may include, but are not limited to, fine arts, commercial arts, museum or gallery management or some other area of career interest.
