This course continues the study of ballet and is aligned to the Essential Standards dance curriculum at the intermediate level. While the emphasis will continue to be on the development of ballet technique, students will also participate in choreographic design. Students will also study ballet history, contemporary and classical styles, as well as the lives of signifi cant artists. Students perform a variety of works for selected audiences.
