Concurrent Enrollment through Front Range Community College: 6.0 credit hours Early Childhood Education 101 (ECE 1011)- .5 credit Guidance Strategies for Young Children (ECE 1031)- .5 credit EARLY CHILDHOOD 101 This introduction to Early Childhood Education course is designed to provide the skills needed to secure employment as a teaching assistant in a childcare center, preschool, or elementary school. ​Focus is on ages birth to eight. ​Students enrolled in the program receive training in the classroom setting and in a licensed child care facility.
