I received my B.A. from the University of Texas (Go Longhorns!) and my J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. During the three years of law school I taught law classes at the Philadelphia prisons. That terrific experience made me realize how much I enjoyed teaching and interacting with my students. I believe that the best way to teach is not to give students answers but to guide them towards answers through constant practice. That principle guided me both as a teacher, and better yet, as a student. Having been a liberal arts double major, a law student, and an appellate clerk, I can help students with a myriad of writing assignments, college and law school admission essays, personal statements, LSAT prep, and law courses involving criminal and constitutional law. In my free time, I enjoy ding yoga, reading, binge-watching Netflix, and hiking.

I am a chemist and a Ph.D. candidate studying pharmacology and neuroscience. My research involves studying venom peptides and there interactions with voltage-gated sodium channels. My research requires me to comfortable in a variety of different topics. I am very passionate about all the STEM fields. It is my goal to help all students improve their knowledge in areas where they are struggling and hopefully improve their overall engagement in those topics.

I am a graduate from the University of Notre Dame, where I studied Philosophy, History, and Education, and this fall I am beginning Graduate School at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for a Master's in Library and Information Science. I have certifications in 5-12th grade English, Level 1 Google Education, and Level 5 Teaching English as a Foreign Language. During my time at Notre Dame and continuing to the present, I have held numerous positions in education, including tutoring, small-group leadership, classroom teacher, and trainer/supervisor. Most of my work has focused on middle school English, Social Studies, and literacy, but I have tutored in all subjects and all grade levels. The philosopher Plato once said that the purpose of education is to 'turn the soul' of the learner towards truth. I have made it my life's work to inspire this perspective shift and passion for learning in others, and I hope to continue to do so with your child.

I like to think of tutoring sessions as learning learning. It's never too late to start good habits, and it's amazing how simple and rewarding it is to approach one's studies in the right way. For my part, I like to keep things light but productive; I find that students learn the best when they're having fun and when their studies highlight the aspects of the work that they're interested in. Myriad studies have correlated interest and academic performance, but just anecdotally it's important to approach school in a way that builds a foundation, whether that's for further schooling or elsewhere in life.

I am a multilingual (5 languages) person with spanish origins, but who was born and raised in Switzerland. I love to help people especially teaching them, as I am conviced we would live in a better world with a higher education level. In my opinion education has a huge effect on the social behaviour of each one of us. More educated people means less crime and more social values. I am blessed and very happy, if I can contribute something in this matter.

I am a recent law school graduate. Having used tutoring and other outside help during my studies, I now want to give back to the community that gave me the skills necessary to receive excellent grades. I enjoy tutoring on various subjects included but not limited to Spanish, ESL and general school subjects. I love being surrounded by students.
