My philosophy starts with building a strong foundation and then applying one's foundational knowledge to solve difficult problems and comprehend complex concepts. For the past 3 years I've been working at an afterschool coding academy Mighty Coders and helping kids ages 7-14 understand concepts in subjects like Python, JavaScript, and more, while also teaching them how to create personal projects/games in those languages. At Varsity Tutors, I teach technology and coding classes and programming languages. I strive to create a fun learning environment while also providing my students with the resources they'll need to be more independent learners, so being able to fix their own issues or learn new concepts on their own if they need/want to.
