About Me

I am a third year student at the University of Virginia studying Biomedical Engineering on a pre medicine track with a minor in computer science. My enthusiasm for tutoring began with my younger sister, as I helped her to overcome learning obstacles and improve her scores on math and science exams. Since then, I have worked with students of varying ages to improve their skills in math and science subjects, including geometry, calculus, chemistry, biology, and more! As a Biomedical Engineering student, I am consistently building on the STEM topics introduced in middle school and high school and am therefore able to provide the deeper understanding needed to excel in higher level STEM courses. When it comes to teaching, I believe in the importance of patience and understanding that each student learns differently. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing lacrosse, and hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
