About Me

I am a recent graduate from the University of Maryland. Now, I hold a Bachelors of Science in Economics and Statistics. Throughout my undergraduate career I had many opportunities to tutor students K-12, along with my undergraduate peers. I mainly tutor economics, mathematics, statistics, and computer science because these subjects are what I am most educated in. Nevertheless, I do posses great knowledge of political science, world history, and business. As a tutor I focus on connecting with students to not only help them learn the material but also to find the best approach for the student to learn. I tailor my tutoring sessions for understanding concepts rather than just solving practice problems. My goal is to guide the student to find his/her most efficient way to study and grasp material. I do this by carefully going through every step in the specific process and explaining any questions along the way. No matter the subject I have always found a good approach for all my students in the past. As a former student who has had vast experience in both sides of tutoring session I believe my techniques are suited for any student wanting to learn.
