Chess Masters Club (Grades 3-5)

Grades 3-5

Learn to see the board like a chess champion in this six-week chess class. Led by a championship-caliber instructor, students will break down all elements of chess strategy from piece value and opening moves through the middlegame and checkmate moves. As students promote their skills from pawn to queen level, they’ll increase both their confidence and their enjoyment of chess as well as critical thinking and analytical skills.
