About Me

I am a graduate of University College Dublin, Ireland, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. After graduation I worked in Biotechnology research in California for a number of years. I eventually became a Technical Trainer responsible for training an international workforce of biotechnology instrumentation engineers. I then returned to school and earned a Masters in Arts with a specialization in Mathematics Education. I have experience working as a Mathematics teacher in public schools in San Francisco and private schools in New York. I see Mathematics as a tool that enables people to establish the truth about the world around them. I hope to make my students comfortable and expert in its use. Helping people who have learning difficulties with Mathematics is my favorite part of tutoring.
