About Me

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and International Affairs from Mercer University in May of 2013. I then went on to receive my Juris Doctorate from Southern Illinois University in May 2017. At the moment, I am not working towards earning another degree. I tutored Spanish after receiving my degree in Spanish and before receiving my law degree. Also, I was an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher during undergraduate school. Beginning Spanish and ESL are my only tutoring subjects. I love tutoring Spanish because it is a beautiful language with a vibrant culture. Practically speaking I tutor Spanish because in today's world it is beneficial to be bilingual. Which is why I also enjoy teaching ESL. Another reason I enjoy teaching ESL is it increases my tutoring capabilities of Spanish. I would describe my tutoring style as personal. When I was a student, my best teachers were the ones who listened to their students needs and taught us in the most helpful manner possible. Outside of work, I enjoy listening to live music, pretty much any kind of live music. I love reading supernatural, sarcastic, and historical books. And I absolutely love movies. I am a big fan of all the superhero movies and shows coming out as of late. But my favorite thing to do has to be exploring the city with my friends.
