What is your teaching philosophy?

Intelligence cannot be measured by a simple test, and a true educator knows that education enhances a student's natural gifts, by understanding the way that student learns in order to maximize their full potential.

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

I would like to introduce myself, get to know that student, and begin the process of understanding that student's learning process and goals.

How can you help a student become an independent learner?

I can help students become independent learners by helping them understand their learning style and what tools would be most effective when coupled with that student's learning style.
