About Me

For the last 24 years, education has been my career path. After retiring from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania - Bureau of Air Quality as an Environmental Engineer, I have acquired an AZED Educational Certificate in Specialized Secondary - S.T.E.M, 6-12 for Engineering, and have held various mathematics teaching positions, as eminent in my resume. In 2000, I began my "Dream" job of educating my small county (North Carolina) community in Adult Education with mathematical skills to obtain their GED for employment, while managing my own educational consulting firm called "The Wright Tutor". I enjoy the one-to-one contact with my clients and renewing the "Spark" in their eyes for the Future!! In 2019, I relocated from my hometown to the metropolitan area of Arizona. Since relocating to the West Coast, I have been employed as a Middle School Math teacher for the Imagine Schools (Camelback); Academy of Math and Science (AMSC), Varsity Tutors LLC as an online STEM tutor, and for various respectable charter schools, as an independent contractor for PRG (Professional Recruiters Group).I have the experience, empathy, and compassion to implement the educational instructional techniques and strategies needed to be successful. You will find me to be creative, inquisitive, analytical, and detail-oriented.
