About Me

I am a 24-year-old Psychology B.S graduate who has a substantial amount of experience and training in child development and education due to the courses I took while in college and the employment I have kept. I work with the understanding that every child deserves a certain level of specialized education and not every person develops skills at the same pace. I have excelled in my ability to mentor and reach goals cooperatively with children and young adults alike and have received many positive reviews from parents and students about my services. My time tutoring has given me the opportunity to meet and tutor children of different temperament and demographics in subjects K-12. I have also tutored many students in SAT/ACT math, reading, and writing over the course of my tutoring career and have facilitated growth in their exam scores and overall preparedness for college courses. I am comfortable helping students who struggle with the English language. It is my belief that the best results come when there are positive interactions and mutual respect between mentor and student. My overall goal is to reach a level where my knowledge and ability will help those who struggle to learn because of circumstances or disabilities.
