About Me

I received my PhD degree in Organic/Material Chemistry from Johns Hopkins University. While in my graduate study in Johns Hopkins, I taught both organic chemistry and college chemistry (for both lecture and laboratory parts) as a teaching assistant to the corresponding professors in the Chemistry Department. In addition to the teaching experience for more advanced chemistry subjects, I also ever tutored junior high's on Math and Sciences, and high school students on Chemistry, Algebra, and Geometry, etc. In my teaching & tutoring, I'd like to first find out the strength and weakness of the student on the corresponding subject, and then design a protocol to induce the student fully exerting his or her strength while improving the weakness counter part. The practical way of implementing this strategy is by doing exampling problems, Q&A discussions, and practicing problem sets, with which a cycle shall be repeated. In my leisure time, I'd like to listen music, sing songs, and I plan to pick up my old interest on oil painting that I haven't touched for a long while.
