About Me

I believe that all students have the capability to learn and achieve what they want from education. I was a teacher for 5 years before having my daughter and staying at home with her. I have a Bachelor's degree from Salisbury University in Elementary Education and a Masters degree from Western Governors University in Educational Technology. I am certified to teach elementary students, and special education students K-12. I am passionate about helping all students learn in the best way for them. I love making learning hands on and interactive, rather than a lecture style approach. My favorite subject to tutor is Math but I also love to read and I enjoy helping students discover a passion for reading too. In my spare time I spend time with my daughter, read and love camping.
