About Me

I graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Writing Seminars. After completing my undergraduate degree, I accepted a position as a full-time Literacy Intervention Tutor with the Literacy Lab. In this position, I conducted daily tutoring sessions with students in Kindergarten-Third Grade. After working with the Literacy Lab for 2 years, I joined Teach for America and gained valuable teaching experience. I currently work as a Behavior Technician with Trellis Services, providing Applied Behavioral Analysis interventions to children with Autism. I am a determined and objective-driven professional with experience:administering assessments to identify the student's academic and skill level.implementing systematic, research-based interventions.tailoring instruction to the developmental and academic level of the student.collecting and analyzing data to make informed instructional decisions. I am passionate about helping students develop the critical skills they need to succeed in their future educational and occupational pursuits. I love helping my students realize their potential and accomplish their goals. Although my professional experience has been predominantly with elementary school students, I am qualified to tutor students of any age in English Language Arts, English Literature, Writing, Psychology, and Social Sciences.
