About Me

I am a math educator. In 2011, I graduated summa cum laude from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois with degrees in Mathematics and Secondary Education. I have experience working in the insurance industry and have passed the first two exams of the Society of Actuaries. I hold a valid initial Teaching Certificate from the state of Illinois and have taught and tutored middle school and high school mathematics, primarily Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Algebra II, Geometry, and Calculus. Most recently, I taught SAT Math, both the current and new formats, at a local academic summer camp. I moved to Charlottesville in June with my husband, and we are thoroughly enjoying the many beautiful vistas and historical sites nearby. I look forward to working with middle and high school students in the area this year!
