Study Strategies

Observation and Note-Taking

Be a Science Detective!

When you do experiments or explore outside, always observe carefully. Use your senses—look, listen, touch, and even smell (safely!). Write or draw what you notice in a science notebook. This helps you remember details and notice changes over time.

Examples

  • Draw a picture of a plant every day to see how it grows.

  • Write down the weather each morning and notice patterns.
