I am graduate of Whitworth University in Washington State. I finished with a degree in Spanish Language and Literature. As a Pre-Law track student I also studied Philosophy, Logic, Government and Political Theory. I have spent an extended period of time studying at La Universidad Santa Maria in Santiago, Chile.I originally found a passion for education while working as a Student Teacher at my undergraduate university. I worked closely with university level students in order to guide them through various projects and assignments. I was also asked to give lectures and exams when professors were absent.I am currently volunteering as a legal advisor and translator for World Relief Spokane which provides assistance to immigrants moving to the United States.In addition to volunteering I dedicate a substantial portion of my time to applying to law school for the Fall of 2022. My goal is to work as legal council for the Department of Justice in one of its many overseas capacities.When I am not focusing on work or school, I enjoy furthering my love for learning languages by improving my Portuguese and Mandarin.

I lived in Costa Rica teaching at a language institute called Intercultura. I worked with the Kids Team lead and helped plan the Kids Halloween Carnival. I also volunteered with the administration during parties and the planning of events for students. I taught kids and adults, mostly at the intermediate level. I enjoyed creating interactive and fun lesson plans for my students.
