About Me

I have a Master's Degree from Saint Joseph's College of Maine in Education. I specialized in Elementary Education but went on to get certified as a Special Needs teacher as well. I have been teaching for 11 years grades k-6 and have experience with a wide range of students from autistic and adhd to traditional students that need a little more personalized help to bring them up to grade level and help them be successful. I believe that each and every child can learn and I enjoy helping students find and achieve their full potential. While I tutor all subjects k-6th grade I have a passion for reading, math and writing. I believe that a good foundation in these three subjects allow students to be successful in life no matter what they may choose to do in the future. I feel strongly that all students deserve a good education and work hard with my students to help them overcome any struggles they may be having in school. I also believe in a good relationship with my students and their parents, helping them and supporting them in their needs.
