About Me

I am a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, I double majored in Education and History and minored in Psychology. I taught middle school social studies for five years in my hometown where I sponsored the safety patrol and National Junior Honor Society. Through my time teaching, I was involved with many community outreach programs and encouraged my students to get involved with various community programs, charities, and events. I love to teach but more importantly I love to learn. I consider myself a life-long learner and strive to inspire students to never stop learning. During my teaching career, I met students of all levels, cultures, and backgrounds and I enjoyed building relationships with my students and learning from them and using my skills to deepen each students' understanding of content. In my spare time, I love to cook, read, and travel. I love trying new things and having new adventures!
