About Me

I graduated from Concordia University in Irvine, California with my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and a California Teaching Credential. After graduation, I spent four years in a private school in Missouri. I taught all subjects to a full-day Kindergarten class for three of those years, and I spent my last year teaching Kindergarten half of the day, and 4th-6th grades in the second half of the day. Since then, I have spent two years tutoring ESL online to students ages 5-14.I love helping students learn! I enjoy engaging with students in a fun way to help them learn important concepts. I can tutor any subject for elementary school students. I love to help students in any subject because I enjoy figuring out how to help students learn the material. My tutoring style is engaging and active. I do my best to include many styles of learning in order to help a student connect with the material. We may make visual organizers, learn rhymes or chants to help retain information, or move around and play simple games. I will always strive my best to help the student learn and succeed!
