About Me

I am a caring person who has always had the desire to help others. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults ages 3-85. I love to have fun while learning and am great at helping students stay on track! I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from SUNY Geneseo, and am currently enrolled as a graduate Social Work student at the University of Buffalo with an expected Master's degree in May 2022. Between my undergraduate and graduate education, I worked as a counselor and advocate for The Mental Health Association of Columbia and Greene Counties, Inc. In this role, I provided individual counseling and advocacy services to survivors of abuse, assault, and other trauma. I am trained in Motivation Interviewing which is a goal-oriented therapy, great for students who need help finding a direction for themselves!
