About Me

I have 21 years teaching experience. I studied Elementary Education at University. While attending school I worked as a Programs Assistant for the US Department of the Army developing and implementing programs for kids, for after school and in the summer. I went on to work for the Department of the USMC in the same capacity. I've spent the last 10 years teaching a combination of Elementary Education, Physical Education and Art. I also have my own business and I teach Tumbling/Gymnastics classes. To say that I enjoy teaching kids is an understatement. I am proud to have the opportunity to positively impact even just one child. My strengths in teaching are English, Literature, writing, reading and History test prep. In the future I also intent to get certified to teach ESL. In my spare time I enjoy anything physically active. I also enjoy cooking healthy food, reading and writing stories. I enjoy Geo-catching and fishing with my kids. I thoroughly enjoy new experiences and adventures that come my way and love being able to share those with friends, family and students alike; living a very fulfilled and purpose driven life.
