About Me

Hello! My name is Abby, I am 26 years old and live in Washington, DC! I earned my Master's Degree ('22) in Political Science with an emphasis on health policy and American Politics and Government. I have a Bachelors ('20) in PoliSci and Psychology, and am here to help you learn! I have experience tutoring writing, analytical skills, basic levels of math, social studies, political science (my area of expertise!), history, and have worked with college admission essay prep, resumes, and paper editing of all kinds. I am here to assist you in anyway possible and help you grow as a student or professional! I was a tutor in college and love to find ways to apply the material to real life. I feel like making what you are studying applicable helps you understand what you are trying to learn. It also makes it fun because it makes it more real instead of just reading it on a textbook page. I was also recently a TA/graduate assistant and took that opportunity to make lectures fun and engaging, and my students had a blast! By day, I work in the US Government in human service policy (and anything I do or say here is not in any official capacity!). Outside of work, I love to read, play with my dog, and watch movies. I am excited to further my education and keep up to date with prior knowledge by tutoring!
