About Me

I have lived in Boise since 2023. I graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. My experience is in both a traditional school setting and a virtual school setting. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, third grade, fourth grade and fifth grade. I also have been in a variety of preschool settings over the years. I also bring experience in homeschooling. I homeschooled my twin sons for their sixth, seventh, and eighth-grade years. Currently, I teach third grade at an online school. I love working with students and seeing them get excited when they understand a concept and have that "light bulb" moment! I love watching soccer. I love SEC football since I am from the south!! I love spending time with my family and my two mini Australian Shepherds!
