About Me

I am a retired Chemistry/Astronomy/Earth Science teacher. I know that all students are capable of learning! However, they need to be taught some simple basics on how to read for comprehension, write using evidence, problem solve using diagrams, and finally, study using a strategy. When any deficiencies have been addressed within the subject area, then the student becomes capable of understanding new concepts and then continuing successful progress on their own. As a tutor, I will make every effort to identify the student's deficiencies that need to be strengthened while maintaining an understanding of current concepts are approached.
