## Tips for Multiple Choice Success
Read each question carefully and eliminate obviously wrong answers. Look
for clues in the question stem and the provided sources or images. Be aware of common distractors—answers that
sound right but aren't supported by the evidence. If you’re unsure, make an educated guess; there’s no penalty for
guessing on the AP exam.

- Looking for time period hints in a question about the Industrial Revolution.
- Eliminating two options that are clearly outside the scope of the question before choosing your answer.
