WHAT YOU'LL WALK AWAY WITH

Outcomes, not lecture notes.

01

Decode the structure and scoring methodology of the MCAT so you can approach every section with a clear, strategic framework

02

Apply section-specific test-taking strategies tailored to the unique demands of Biological and Biochemical Foundations, Chemical and Physical Foundations, Psychological and Social Foundations, and CARS

03

Identify deliberately tricky or high-difficulty questions and execute targeted techniques to work through them without losing time or confidence

04

Analyze complex passages under timed conditions and extract the precise information needed to answer questions accurately

05

Recognize common question patterns and wrong-answer traps used across MCAT sections to eliminate distractors and improve accuracy

06

Build a pacing strategy for each section that protects your time budget and minimizes costly guessing

07

Evaluate your performance across practice sets to identify recurring weak spots and adjust your preparation accordingly

ABOUT THIS CLASS

The MCAT 8-Week Prep Class is built for pre-med students who are serious about walking into test day with a real plan — not just reviewed content, but a command of the strategies that turn a good score into a great one. Over eight weeks, you'll work through every section of the MCAT, learning the structure, the scoring, and the specific techniques that help you move efficiently through even the most complex passages and problems. This course goes beyond content review: you'll develop the test-taking instincts to recognize difficult or deliberately tricky questions and know exactly how to handle them. Whether you're targeting a score that unlocks your top-choice medical school or fighting through a plateau after your first attempt, this course gives you the roadmap, the reps, and the confidence to perform at your ceiling.

SYLLABUS
  • Session 1: MCAT Foundations & CARS Strategies — Introduction to exam structure, scoring, and timing, plus strategies for breaking down and analyzing CARS passages.
  • Session 2: Chem/Phys Strategies, Math, & Electrophysics — Passage mapping and problem-solving techniques for Chem/Phys, with mental math, dimensional analysis, and core electrostatics and circuits concepts.
  • Session 3: Amino Acids & Enzyme Kinetics — Structure and properties of amino acids, enzyme function, and key kinetics relationships including Michaelis-Menten and Lineweaver-Burke.
  • Session 4: Chemical Equilibrium & Acid-Base Chemistry — Equilibrium concepts applied to acid-base systems, covering pH, pKa, buffers, titrations, and Le Chatelier's principle.
  • Session 5: Organic Chemistry: Isomers & Substitution Reactions — Identifying and classifying isomers, determining absolute configurations, and differentiating SN1 and SN2 mechanisms in passage-based questions.
  • Session 6: DNA & Genetics — Structure and function of DNA, replication, transcription, translation, and key principles of Mendelian genetics and inheritance patterns.
  • Session 7: Cell Signaling — Neuronal, hormonal, and second messenger signaling pathways, with emphasis on comparing mechanisms and applying concepts to complex scenarios.
  • Session 8: Sound & Optics — Wave behavior, Doppler effect, refraction, and lenses, with application to MCAT-style physics problems.
