About Me

I enjoy the challenge of helping students succeed! I am a former high school drop out, now with a Masters Degree! I have been in Special Education for over 10 years now, as I also hold a Masters Degree in Special Education. Many of my years as a Special Education teacher have been working with middle school students. I have taught grades 6-8 in both Math and ELA. I have been an inclusion teacher, a Special Education Co-Teacher, as well as a Special Education Resource teacher. I have substantial experience working with students with Special needs. My job now is working as a Special Education District Instructional Coordinator for a charter district here in Texas. My experience working with students of all learning levels, as well as my education have prepared me to help our students become successful! I am a certified Special Education Teacher for grades PK-12! I am also certified as a Generalist 6-8, with knowledge of all subjects in those grade levels.
