About Me

I currently hold a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Music Education from McDaniel College. Additionally, I completed a second Master's Degree in Theatre from Regent University. I have been teaching for 14 years and have spent time teaching PreK - 12th grade. Having spent 10 years teaching middle school students and now teaching high school students, my passion for helping students excel in school is what continually drives me as an educator. I teach high school theatre and spend time running my after-school program. During the morning, I teach students in an auditioned magnet theatre program who are interested in pursuing a career in the arts. My afternoons are filled working with students of the general population of my incredibly diverse high school. Outside of school, I enjoy attending high school basketball games, baking, and reading. I have sent many students through the audition process and have edited more college essays than I can count. I look forward to helping you succeed!
