About Me

Science and math can be difficult. Without motivation it can seem impossible to understand. My goal is not only to help you understand those difficult concepts, but to help you enjoy the process of learning. I have 6 years of experience teaching chemistry and AP psychology at the high school level (2015-2021), a B.S. in neuroscience and studio art (2008-2013), an M.A. in teaching (2015-2017), and an in-progress M.S. in cognitive neuroscience (2021-Present).As a public school teacher in NYC, I have experience and enjoy working with students from a wide variety of backgrounds and skill levels in chemistry and psychology. As a current student at the CUNY Graduate Center, my research interests include the neural basis of sensation and perception, human time perception, and the flow state of consciousness.
