About Me

My formal teaching experience includes undergraduate literature, multi-genre creative writing, and fiction writing courses at a large and diverse university with global campuses. I also worked as a tutor in a university writing center, serving students across all disciplines. Creative writing is my favorite subject to teach. I learn something new in every session, probably owing to the "less lecture, more workshop" model. I recently returned to Utah from the D.C. area, where I attended graduate school and earned an MFA in Creative Writing.
