About Me

I believe it is important to help students learn, understand, and apply their knowledge to be able to perform better in their classes. This starts by explaining material in ways that might be different than they might see in classes or textbooks and finding practical applications to tie into the subject. I have been tutoring students for the past 7 years during both my undergraduate and graduate (M.S. Organic Chemistry) studies in addition to 3 years of classroom teaching experience. I understand chemistry can be a challenging subject for many students but it doesn't have to be. Better understanding chemistry often involves learning new strategies and approaches to solve chemical problems to make it easier for the student.
