I am passionately determined to inspire curiosity and confidence in people of all ages and abilities. While you may be seeking a tutor to help you to succeed on one test, or in one subject, working with a tutor is an opportunity to develop a greater understanding of yourself; I can help you to identify your unique needs and to harness your strengths so that you may be successful in the classroom and beyond. I have been employed as a tutor at a community college in Fredericksburg, VA, and as a preschool teacher in Garrisonville, VA. Working with people of all ages, I've found that everyone can benefit from the individualized instruction a tutor can provide. Even the most intellectually gifted students may require a second opinion or emotional support, and those with intellectual disabilities may exceed all expectations given a teacher that is patient and compassionate. I specialize in reading, writing, science, and test preparation, but I hope to help my students to feel brilliant and appreciated in all that they do.
