About Me

Hello! I am a professor and online tutor with a background in Anatomy & Physiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Genetics, and Molecular Biology. I have an extensive background in K-12, Undergraduate and Graduate-level Sciences, Mathematics, and Spanish. My approach with each student is to identify their immediate needs and gaps in knowledge and assess how best to reach their goal and boost their grade. Through our sessions, we then work together to build personalized learning tools that they can utilize to become confident, independent learners. My Academic Experience: I have over 6 years of experience as a science educator both online and in a traditional college setting. I earned my M.S. in Genetics & Molecular Biology from the UNC where I completed 6 years of cancer research studies and 8 publications. I earned my B.S. in Pre-Veterinary Medicine at the University of Delaware where I also earned a minor in Spanish (totaling over 8 years of Spanish).
